Mauritania Cuts Iran Ties

PARIS —
Mauritania is severing diplomatic relations with Iran, Radio France Internationale said Sunday. The foreign-broadcasting arm of French state radio quoted the Mauritanian government as saying that Tehran’s “obstinate refusal” of any negotiations in its conflict with Iraq threatens the stability of all countries in the region.
