Expansion Fuels Big Gains at ReadiCare

Crediting the results of its earlier expansion program, ReadiCare Inc. of Newport Beach reported fiscal 1988 first-quarter profits of $477,000, up 94% from the $245,000 posted a year earlier.

Revenues from patients for the period ended May 31 were $6.3 million, up 48% from the $4.2 million of a year ago.

The company operates 33 outpatient and drop-in medical centers throughout California, Nevada and Washington, nine more than it did a year ago.
