Her Answer to Assault: Right on Tip of Tongue

WIESBADEN, West Germany —
A man who tried to kiss a West German woman against her will got the tip of his tongue bitten off, police said Thursday.
The 21-year-old woman told police a shabbily dressed man in his late 20s attacked her in her car. When he moved to kiss her, “the victim proceeded to forcefully bite off the assailant’s tongue tip,” the police report said.
Authorities were on the lookout for a man with a “rather nasty and bloody” mouth injury and noticeably impaired speech.
