Oil Production
I can’t wait to hear the cries and moans that will be forthcoming from the California motorists in the coming months and years when gasoline prices rise. They will say, “Oh, those mean old oil companies are doing it to us again.”
The future of our country depends on the fact that we take advantage of the reserves that we have in our own back yard. By postponing drilling in obvious oil rich areas, i.e. offshore California, we are ensuring our dependence on foreign sources for oil.
When will the citizens of not only California, but the rest of the country, wake up to the fact that we need to find and produce our own oil? We can’t depend on other countries to provide us with oil. We need to produce our own resources now.
