Man Penalized for Having Lion in a Convertible

The 280-pound lion was strapped into the seat of the convertible, but that was not enough to keep its trainer out of trouble. Bobby Steele, who was posing for promotional photographs with the lion in a parking lot, was sentenced Monday to a year on probation for his no-contest plea to a charge of transporting the lion in an improper vehicle.
