Syrian authorities have reportedly given U.S. officials a videotape showing the deportation of Palestinian terrorist Abu Nidal from Damascus to Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, the Voice of Lebanon radio said. The radio of Lebanon’s Christian Falangist Party said the videotape included “complete scenes of the deportation operation which occurred a month ago.” There was no independent confirmation of the existence of a tape. Abu Nidal--the nom de guerre of Palestinian Sabri Banna--and his followers have been blamed for more than 60 attacks in 20 countries, resulting in 114 deaths.
