Korean Vets

Share

What about the Korean war vets? There were many thousands killed and wounded in the Korean conflict, but the veterans of that action have been overlooked and ignored and never given any recognition. There were never any parades for those returning veterans nor any memorials erected in their honor. There are many in the veteran’s hospitals as a result of their wounds.

It is high time to honor these men and give them the recognition they so richly deserve for their service in another “unpopular” war. (When is a war ever popular?) The Vietnam veterans have begun to receive deserved recognition; it is time to include the Korean veterans in these honors. Korean veterans, assert yourselves.
