Another in Paris

Share

As a travel writer I found the Lasley-Harryman article on dining out in Paris, “Return to the Classics” (July 5), most interesting. But it failed to mention one of the city’s finest and top-rated restaurants, Lasserre on Rue Franklin D. Roosevelt off the Champs-Elysees. If you can get a reservation you will dine in splendor and sample the very best in French cuisine. Each dish arrives like an artistic creation, served on the finest bone chine, and the service is simply superb. It’s the only restaurant in Paris with a sliding roof that opens to reveal the sky, and Lasserre’s own doves fly down, bringing little gifts to diners at their tables.

It’s an experience in dining not to be missed, and menu prices are equivalent to other top Parisian eateries.
