Mexican Workers in U.S. Send $80 Million Home

MEXICO CITY —
Mexicans living in the southern part of the United States sent $80 million by telegram remittances to their families in Mexico during the first five months of the year, Mexico’s national telegraph company said.
It estimated that by year’s end, the workers would have sent $198 million, up from $168.5 million last year.
