Monrovia : Parking Tickets to Be Issued

Share

In an effort to clear streets so they can be cleaned, the Police Department will issue $13 tickets, beginning Aug. 13, to cars parked in street-cleaning areas.

The city has posted signs on each block to designate which side of the street is closed to parking on which days. This month, it began issuing warnings to the owners of cars parked on the wrong side. The alternate-side parking program was approved last November, when voters rejected a proposed ban on overnight parking.
