2 Workers Killed in S. Africa Mine Accident

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa —
Two South African workers were killed in an accident deep underground Thursday at a gold mine about 190 miles south of Johannesburg, the mine owners said.
In a brief statement, Rand Mines said the workers were crushed to death by a rock fall at the 25th underground level of the Harmony gold mine in the Orange Free State.
No other details were immediately available.
