“The Ultimate Box Tops.” Warner Special Products. The Box Tops was one of the most under-rated rock groups of the late ‘60s, a Memphis-based outfit whose LPs (originally released by Bell) have been out of print for so long that the band isn’t even mentioned in Rolling Stone’s comprehensive “Record Guide.” But this 51-minute, CD-only package should help bring the Box Tops new fans and new respect.
