Monitor Technologies Shows Quarterly Gain : Monitor Technologies Inc. reported second-quarter net income of $224,978 on

revenues of $2.5 million, compared with a net loss of $2.4 million on revenues of $2.6 million over the comparable year-ago period.

Last year’s quarter was adversely affected by the establishment of disposal reserves for Monitor’s discontinued factory-automation business.

For the six months ended June 30, Monitor reported net income of $415,032 on revenues of $4.8 million, compared with a net loss of $2.5 million on revenues of $5.4 million over the same period a year ago.
