Motorola Inc. expects to be indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of overpricing and improper billing on two Defense Department contracts for electronics equipment, company officials said. William J. Weisz, Motorola vice chairman and chief operating officer, told securities analysts that the Schaumburg, Ill.-based company was considering entering a plea agreement to some of the charges. The federal grand jury also is reportedly investigating whether the company improperly charged the government for certain labor costs, officials said.
