2 Killed on Swiss Peak

ZERMATT, Switzerland —
Two climbers fell to their deaths Saturday while trying to scale the 14,780-foot Matterhorn, the Air Zermatt rescue service reported. The two, whose identities were not immediately determined, fell about 1,600 feet while climbing the east face of the peak.
