Peres to Attend New U.N. General Assembly

TEL AVIV —
Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres will attend the opening of the U.N. General Assembly in New York next month, a Shamir aide said Saturday.
Peres will address the assembly during his visit at the end of September and will meet withleaders of several countries with which Israel had no diplomatic ties, the aide added.
