$27.5 Million in Leases Signed in 2 Buildings

The J. H. Snyder Co. has just signed four leases with an aggregate value exceeding $27.5 million for more than 200,000 feet of office space in the Wilshire Courtyard and Museum Square complexes in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles.

Three leases were signed for Wilshire Courtyard, a development of Snyder and California Federal Savings & Loan and one lease, for more than 33,000 square feet of space for Argonaut Insurance Co., has been signed at Museum Square, a partnership of Snyder and Ogo Associates.

The primary lease at Wilshire Courtyard was for more than 130,000 square feet of space for the Western home office of Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co., Chattanooga, Tenn. Cushman Realty Corp. represented Provident and Clifford Goldstein of Snyder represented the landlord.

The other two leases at Wilshire Courtyard were for AC&R;/DHB & Bess Advertising Inc., for 17,000 square feet, and Club Corp. of America, for 17,000 square feet for use as a private health club.

Designed by McLarand, Vasquez & Partners, Costa Mesa, Wilshire Courtyard on Wilshire Boulevard between Masselin and Curson avenues, consists of two six-story buildings totaling more than 1 million square feet. Museum Square, across the street at 5757 Wilshire, has 553,000 square feet.
