Torrance Plaza Work Started

Construction has begun in Torrance on Centre Pointe Plaza, the eight-story, $65-million headquarters of CCH Computax Inc. The developer is Oxford Properties Inc.
The architect of the 320,000-square-foot project at Hawthorne and Torrance boulevards is Albert C. Martin & Associates, Los Angeles. The general contractor is McCarthy/Pacific, Newport Beach.
An August, 1988, completion is scheduled for the granite and glass structure that will be the national headquarters for the unit of Commerce Clearing House, Chicago.
