The South is rising again, or at least one of its more notable rock outfits is. Lynyrd Skynyrd, a rock ‘n’ roll band that disbanded after a plane crash killed two members in 1977, will reunite beginning with an appearance at the Volunteer Jam concert Sept. 6. Rock-country star Charlie Daniels, host of the concert, said that the seven-member band would be his special guest at Volunteer Jam XIII at Starwood Amphitheater.
