I thought it rather touching the way that North explained how he spent government travelers’ checks in a lingerie shop in Washington, D.C.-- (his wife reminded him) that he bought tutus for his kids. This is the same Rambo type who was so involved in secret covert actions all over the world that he didn’t have time to go to his children’s birthday parties. Give me a break!
