Bishop Graphics Buys 2 Santa Clara Companies

Bishop Graphics acquired most of the assets of InterCad Inc. and Precision Drafting Inc., two Santa Clara companies that were privately held, for an undisclosed cash amount.

InterCad makes workstations for computer-aided design and the company will become a separate unit of Bishop Graphics, a Westlake Village-based maker of engineering and design equipment.

Precision Drafting, which also sells engineering and drafting supplies, will be merged into Bishop Graphic’s Drafting Supply Center in Sunnyvale.
