Pan Am Games officials in Indianapolis said that, while tickets are still available for nearly all sessions, organizers were close to their target of $7 million in sales.

Among the 16 sold-out sessions were finals in men’s and women’s basketball, track and field, platform diving and swimming.

Of the games’ 27 sports, the only sellout is taekwondo, scheduled Aug. 14-16.
