Twenty-five people were arrested in Hong Kong in a crackdown on a tomb-robbing antique-smuggling ring, the official China News Service said Wednesday. The report said arrests were made in two southern Chinese provinces last month and 86 very valuable antiques were recovered. These included pottery dating back 1,300 years to China’s T’ang dynasty, Ming porcelain bowls and vases and watercolors and scrolls by renowned Chinese artists.
