A Dinosaur Returns

Left-wing educator Herbert Kohl’s retreat from back-to-basics in schools (“Free School Pioneer Awaits New Revolution” by Allan Parachini, July 19) reveals how a dinosaur can still emerge from the dark past and leave big imprints in an influential modern newspaper. Kohl is probably responsible for more illiterates in America than anyone else.
