The Cincinnati Bengals are prepared to start the season without six-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Anthony Munoz, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
The team said it offered Munoz $500,000 a year Friday, but the former USC star’s agent, Howard Slusher, rejected the deal. Slusher countered with proposals that seek $656,250 a year over four years, or $633,333 a year over three years. Both proposals include incentives worth an additional $100,000 per year.
