Bombs Kill 11, Wound 45 in Pakistani Town

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — Three bombs exploded Tuesday in a market town in northwest Pakistan, killing 11 people and injuring 45, local officials said. The bombs exploded within half an hour in Mardan, one of the main towns of North-West Frontier province, which borders on Afghanistan.
It was the latest in a series of bomb attacks that have killed more than 150 people in different Pakistani cities this year.
