Shots Fired at Egypt’s Ex-Interior Minister

CAIRO —
At least three men in a speeding car sprayed the home of former Egyptian Interior Minister Nabawi Ismail with machine-gun fire Thursday night, injuring two people in their escape, the semi-official Al Ahram said Friday.
The newspaper said a taxi driver and another civilian were hurt when the gunmen fired shots while escaping. Ismail was unhurt.
