John Schwartz has been promoted to the new position of vice president for program management at Interstate Electronics Corp. in Anaheim.

Schwartz, a 30-year employee of Interstate, was formerly director of strategic weapon systems programs and most recently served as director of program management.

In his new assignment, he will be responsible for all the company’s program management offices; the corporate contract administration department will report to him.
