Lange Shuffles Cabinet

WELLINGTON, New Zealand —
Recently reelected Prime Minister David Lange, in a surprise Cabinet revamping, announced Wednesday that he is giving up his role as minister of foreign affairs in the Cabinet and taking the education post instead.
Russell Marshall was named minister of foreign affairs as well as disarmament and arms control minister, a post established under the country’s anti-nuclear legislation enacted earlier this year.
