Crop-Duster Plane Flies Too Low, Kills Worker

BASTROP, La. —
A man waving directions to a crop-duster over a rice field was killed when the plane swooped too low and struck his head, officials said Wednesday.
Estus Turner, 19, died in the accident Tuesday at Molicy Farms in northwest Morehouse Parish. The pilot landed safely.
