Reagan to Help Landon Mark 100th Birthday

SANTA BARBARA —
President Reagan will visit Topeka, Kan., on Sept. 6 to help Alfred M. Landon celebrate his 100th birthday, the White House announced Friday.
Landon, the former Kansas governor who was the Republican candidate for President in 1936 and lost in a landslide to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, will be 100 on Sept. 9.
