Israeli Defense Chief to Visit W. Germany

TEL AVIV — Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin will visit West Germany in September, the Israeli Defense Ministry said Friday.
The trip will be the first official visit of an Israeli defense chief to West Germany.
West German Defense Minister Manfred Woerner last year became the first West German defense chief to visit the Jewish state.
