A 23-year-old Montana man died Friday of injuries he suffered in a one-vehicle accident in Yellowstone National Park, but the driver of the 1986 Ford Bronco survived a 100-foot fall down a cliff, authorities said.

Park spokesman Greg Kroll said Scott Miller of West Yellowstone died at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls from head injuries he suffered in Thursday’s accident. Kroll identified the driver as Kelly Manger, 20, of Van Nuys, Calif., who suffered cuts and bruises.
