The Clippers have settled a lawsuit involving forward Michael Cage and Club Rimini of the Italian professional league out of court for what the Clippers called a nuisance value of $7,500.
The suit, filed by Club Rimini in August of 1984, was seeking damages as a result of Cage’s aborted negotiations to play with the Italian team during the 1984-85 season. Cage subsequently signed a contract with the Clippers.
