Microsemi Agrees to Acquire Omni Technology

Share

Microsemi Corp., a Santa Ana defense electronics manufacturer, said it has tentatively agreed to acquire Omni Technology Corp., a Fremont maker of electronic testing devices. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The pending deal would be the second for Microsemi in the last two months. In June, the fast-growing company acquired Hybrid Components of Beverly, Mass., another maker of electronic testing equipment. Both Hybrid and Omni testing devices are used primarily to evaluate electronics used by defense and aerospace contractors.
