A glitch in a day-old super computer that controls air traffic over the Northeast caused delays during a busy Friday night at Boston’s Logan International Airport, officials said. A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said the computer at the FAA’s regional air traffic control center in Nashua, N.H., was operating normally by Saturday morning. The malfunction was caused by “interface problems” between the new system and the Nashua facility’s computer display channel, which converts data into a signal that puts a picture on the screen, she said.
