Oregon Search at Site of Five Bodies Resumes
Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday resumed their search through a steep, brushy area where five decomposed corpses were discovered.
An Explorer Scout post was being called in to help the 20 sheriff’s searchers go through the 200-square-yard area by hand, Clackamas County sheriff’s Lt. Donald A. Vicars said.
Vicars said the site, in a private forest popular with outdoors enthusiasts, would be sealed for several days while investigators look for more bodies and evidence. The five bodies were found within 100 yards of each other.
A hunter reported finding the first body Monday night about four miles from Dickey Prairie.
