Bomber’s Statement Aired

TEL AVIV —
Israel radio broadcast on Friday what it said was the confession of a suicide bomber trained by Syria to attack Israeli soldiers and their South Lebanon Army militia allies. It said Ali Abdel-Rahman Wahbe, an Egyptian, surrendered to the South Lebanon Army on Aug. 22 rather than carry out his suicide mission.
