Field of 12 Set for Del Mar ‘Cap

DEL MAR — Swink, who beat Forlitano and Rivlia, starters in the Budweiser-Arlington Million, in his last start, is co-high weight with stablemate Louis Le Grand today in the $300,000 Del Mar Handicap at Del Mar.
Twelve horses were entered for the 1 3/8-mile grass race, including Exclusive Partner, who was scratched from Saturday’s Escondido Handicap.
Swink finished two lengths in front of Forlitano, with Rivlia running third, in the Sunset Handicap at Hollywood Park July 27. Swink and Louis Le Grand, who hasn’t won since last February at Santa Anita, will each carry 120 pounds.
