Dataproducts Contract Could Bring $65 Million

Share

Dataproducts said it received a contract to supply computer printers to Unisys that could bring Dataproducts $65 million in revenue over four years.

Dataproducts, based in Woodland Hills, said the contract is believed to be one of the largest awarded by a computer maker to a printer company in the last year.

Unisys, a Blue Bell, Pa., company formed last year by the merger of Burroughs and Sperry, will buy so-called “band” printers that will be packaged with large mainframe computers it sells.
