Two “Lotto 6/49” players, one in Redlands and another in San Mateo, will split the weekly $4.6-million jackpot, a California Lottery spokesman said Sunday.

The two players who correctly picked all six numbers each won $2,346,129, spokesman John Schade said. The numbers picked by machine Saturday night were 23, 49, 8, 3, 25, 48 and the bonus number 19.

Three ticket holders picked five numbers plus the bonus number to win $409,730 each. A San Gabriel liquor store sold two of the tickets and a convenience store in Fountain Valley sold the third.

Another 171 winning tickets had five correct numbers, each paying $3,703. A pool of $571,075 was established for 10,775 winning players who picked four correct numbers, with each ticket paying $53.

Schade said 221,097 people who picked three correct numbers will win an automatic $5.

Three letters were also selected in the new Triple Chance instant scratch-off game that started this week. The Triple Chance letters drawn Saturday were “D,” “P” and “S.”

If the three letters on their ticket matches the three picked Saturday, and in the same order, they’ll win $500 and be eligible to be drawn for the “Big Spin.”
