San Diego Chargers’ cornerback Danny Walters, arrested for possession of cocaine and driving under the influence earlier this week, will remain on the team while undergoing drug treatments.
Coach Al Saunders said that Walters could play Sunday against St. Louis if cleared by NFL and team officials. Walters passed a drug test, prompting team owner Alex Spanos to allow Walters to remain on the team pending further legal action by San Diego authorities.
