UC San Diego Shuts Out UCI Women in Soccer

UC San Diego scored two goals in the first half to defeat UC Irvine, 2-0, in a nonconference women’s soccer match at UC Irvine Sunday.

Heidi Mitchem scored for the Tritons (5-1) at 3:03 with an assist from Teresa Schwaar. Fullback Susan Kramer scored UCSD’s second goal at 26:43.

The Anteaters are 1-3-1.
