Fred S. James & Co., an insurance brokerage in Irvine, has named James C. Schober senior vice president of Pacific Rim business development, a new position.
Schober joins James after eight years with Johnson & Higgins as vice president of the San Diego office and, most recently, as chief operating officer at the Honolulu office. Before that, he spent 11 years with Wausau Insurance in Minnesota, Arizona and San Diego.
