West Hollywood : 2 AIDS Groups Get $3,000 Each

The City of West Hollywood has donated $6,000 in proceeds from the 1987 Tom Proctor 5/10K Run and Walkathon to the Being Alive/People with AIDS Coalition and Aid for AIDS. Each organization will receive $3,000.

Being Alive is a nonprofit organization that provides support, counseling and community resources to people with acquired immune deficiency syndrome and AIDS-related complex. Aid for AIDS provides financial assistance to patients.
