Local News in Brief : New AIDS Project Chief
John C. Wolfe, a psychologist who served as director of special treatment and rehabilitation programs at the National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, has been named the new executive director of AIDS Project Los Angeles.
“I wanted to return to working with health and social issues that dealt with the disenfranchised people,” Wolfe said, adding that he plans to work closely with minority group organizations.
AIDS Project Los Angeles is a 5-year-old nonprofit organization that provides services to people with AIDS.
