Alzheimer Victim Didn’t Know Wife Was Dead

CLEARWATER, Fla. — An elderly man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease lived for two or three days alongside the body of his 83-year-old wife, unaware that she had died, officials said today.
Margaret Loscalzo apparently died Thursday or Friday, police officer Michael McManus said. But it was Sunday before her body was discovered by Josie Pisacano, who grew concerned after talking with her brother, Matthew Loscalzo, and visited the house.
