Union officials announced an agreement on a new contract for Boston school bus drivers and said the buses will begin their runs on Tuesday morning after a monthlong strike. William J. Foley, New England district director of the United Steelworkers union, which represents the drivers, said the agreement is for two years but refused to give further details. He said it was signed immediately by both sides because the union rank and file had agreed earlier to binding arbitration to settle the dispute over wages and working conditions.
