New details on the riot that erupted after the cancellation Sunday of a Fat Boys concert in Bakersfield: Publicist Dawn Bridges, who referred to her clients as the “Three Stooges of Rap,” said the Boys left the Kern County Fairgrounds after a last-minute contract dispute with concert promoter Marvin Adams. Bridges claimed the promoter attempted to cut the group’s fee in half, but Adams--who was beaten and had his car destroyed by angry fans--disputed that account in an interview Tuesday. Adams said he offered to pay $2,000 less than the amount the group had been promised up front and half of their guaranteed fee after the concert.
