Edelman met with top executives of Telex Corp. in New York to discuss Edelman’s $872-million tender offer for the computer and electronics firm, but no agreements were reached at the session. Edelman asked Telex Chairman Stephen J. Jatras and President George L. Bragg that his TLX Acquisition Corp. be given the opportunity to compete with any offer from a third party that Telex might consider accepting.
